Wow

So, this whole journey is still very new to us. But, I've decided to blog about it for two reasons. One, I want my family in Brazil to be able to be with us through this Journey, but two, this will be a tangible record that our baby can have one day so that this baby can understand just how much he/she is wanted, loved, and treasured more than words can say.

To spare the gory details, this all happened pretty quickly. We had been talking about having a baby for a long time, and we decided to go off the pill at the end of August. In the beginning of December, I started to have some gut feelings. I took the home test on Monday, December 22nd and it was positive!! This was really exciting and also stressful because we were leaving for Rio de Janeiro in about two hours.

We took a few days to get used to the news, but each day there were more and more signs. We're going to have a baby!!
